INQUA will provide a limited number of travel awards for master students, early career researchersand to scientists from developing countries to attend the XXI INQUA Congress taking place in Rome between 13 th -20 th July 2023. The awards will be competitive and will require that a first author abstract has been accepted for the meeting.

The online application form https://inqua.org/financial-support  will be available on July 15 th .

You will be notified whether or not your request for funding has been successful by January 20 th 2023. The awards are not intended to cover all of your expenses except under special circumstances. You will also need to check whether or not you are from a nation that requires a visa to enter Italy.

We advise you to check this information on the latest INQUA Congress circular and also here. We ask you make a reasonable estimate of the requested amounts based on your situation (e.g., travel distance). You should also stay within the upper financial limits set by INQUA.

These limits are 2000 euro for travel, 750 euro for accommodation, 450 euro for registration, 350 euro for subsistence and 200 euro for visa.

Please note that all expenses must ultimately be accounted for with receipts.
